Commissions I am happy to take commissions either from your own source of wood (i.e. storm damaged branch from which you used to swing) or from my wood but to your requirements Wanted Wood, particularly Yew and Laburnum but any storm damaged timber can be used provided it is not literally rotten. Diseased timber is what I am looking for or very well marked wood with contrasting heartwood and sapwood. I am happy to make you something from the wood in exchange for a good quantity. I am not a tree surgeon or chainsaw expert (but have received chainsaw training) - I would consider helping with the removal of wood where there is limited risk to surroundings. Please contact me on enquiries@insideoutwoodart.co.uk

'Inside Out Wood Art', 'Reshaping Nature' and '360° Wood Art' Three domains that point to the same web site - WHY? In my view, all three domain names can be used to describe my form of Art. I am turning (literally) the original piece of wood 'Inside Out' in order to display to you the 'Wood Art' that has been hidden away for many years. I am also taking a piece of wood and 'Reshaping' something which has been growing for years and years controlled by 'Nature'. However, nature still plays it's part in the finished item. The resultant hollow form item is not a single piece
of Art - a very different perspective can be enjoyed through '360
degrees' of 'Wood Art'. |
